Sage's 1st B-Day!

Since we had just gotten home from California and Disneyland. I thought it would be cute to do a Minnie Mouse party for Sage. She got a Minnie Mouse dress down in Disneyland and this was another way for her to use it besides Halloween. I made her a Minnie Mouse inspired cake and a small smash cake as well. We had all of our family there and she had fun playing with each new toy as she had help opening them from Parley. She couldn't wait for some of them to get out of the box. Sage didn't realize that her cake was edible. She did like playing with the frosting and finally with some help smashed the cake and realized what it was. Then she loved eating it from there.

Parley's and Maddie's B-days

Okay I am going to group Parley's and Maddie's birthdays since I am so behind. Parley had a angry bird birthday party. I made him a sweet angry bird cake and he had a couple friends over. He now thinks that everyone should have a angry bird cake for their birthdays. Silly boy.

Madison had a luau party with her friends and played water games on the lawn. Everyone got a lay and goodie bag. I made her cake too. It was a pair of flip flops. She got lots of monster high stuff which is her favorite thing lately.

Man I suck at posting!

Wow, it's been awhile since I posted. Oops. Well really quick, Jerry was released from elders quorum, and now is the ward clerk. He is going to school and working (I know what is he not doing, right?). I am in YW still and I LOVE it. Maddie is in 2nd grade and loves soccer and basketball. Parley started preschool this year and loves cars more than anything. Sage is now a year old and is almost walking. I will do follow up posts of trips and birthdays.

Spring Break 2012

Pictures from Spring Break. We didn't do much, but the kids had fun!

Sage is getting so big and just started sitting on her own.

Maddie and Parley wanted to have a sleep over so they slept on this for the whole week.

This is our kit flying adventure we went on that week. The wind wasn't the best, but it was fun anyway.

Finally... We have snow!

Two kids could hardly hold their excitement in. They didn't want to run to the store first as planned, we talked them into it and got them pizza to eat.

This is the start of their snow fort, that daddy is helping them build (while throwing shovels full of snow on them in the process.) They both think it is fun to throw snowball at dad and mom.

This is what Sage was doing while everyone played it the snow. Well I guess I didn't play much either. I just went out long enough to take pictures and push Jerry down in the snow.

Christmas! Enough Said....

Christmas Eve we take the kids to go and see the lights at Christmas Village. This year Jerry had to work so I took the kids and met up with aunts and uncle and Grandpa Allred.

We invited Jerry's mom and brother and sister over to spend the night and wake up with us on Christmas morning since they did not have Jerry's dad here this christmas. The kids loved it.

NEW BABY! YEA!

Welcome Sage! She is our highlight of 2011. She is a great blessing to end the year or downs. Parley had to have his tonsils out in August because of breathing issues and one week later Jerry's dad passed away very suddenly. It has been a huge loss and very difficult for our family and for Jerry's mom and siblings. Sage has brought great happiness to all and has helped ease the pain. She loves to smile and talk to everyone, you can't help your heart being melted immediately. We love her and Parley and Madison so much. We are blessed to have three great kids.
